Combat meter for Aion 2

See what really changed.

Truesight sits over the game and reads its own traffic. It shows everyone's damage as it happens, keeps every fight, and tells you why your number moved: the party, the gear, the luck, or you.

The Truesight meter over the game: your DPS at the top against your best kill of this boss, the boss's health in a hexagon, six numbered players with bars in their class colours, your own row in ember brackets, and the food and buffs running.

What changed

Up 23% on last time. Your party carried the hits.

With a Chanter and a Templar along, the same skills landed 15% harder, and Ruinous Blow did more of the work. Your gear did not change. That is the kind of answer Truesight gives you after every run.

The meter

Over the game, out of its way

The meter sits at the top right of the screen and finds the game by itself. Your first hit starts a fight.

  • Your DPS up top, held against your best kill of that boss, with the boss's health beside it.
  • One numbered row per player in their class colour, with DPS and share. You are in ember brackets and never scroll away.
  • Party and Public. Party is you and your group; Public is everyone around you, each on their own clock. Both run all the time, so switching loses nothing.
  • Food and scrolls along the bottom, with any that ran out crossed through.
The meter in a dungeon room: four players with class, gear score, combat power and whether each is ready, and one open slot.
Waiting in a dungeon room, the meter shows the room instead: who is in, their gear score and combat power, who leads, and who is not ready yet.

The tools

Every fight, kept and explained

Details, history and settings open with Ctrl+Alt+D. Every fight is saved the moment it ends, with what each skill did.

The Fight page: damage, group DPS and time in brackets, then six players with DPS, share, crit, hits and damage, and your row in ember brackets.
Fight: every player, skill and target, measured over the whole fight or active time.
The Test page: three dummy runs side by side against a baseline, with DPS, damage, hits, crit, perfect and double rates, and the difference in each cell.
Test: change one thing, hit a dummy, and see runs side by side against a baseline.

Dungeons

Each boss is only measured against itself at the same difficulty, and your usual is the middle of your last 12 kills, so it is your form now.

Improve

The three moves worth making first, the stats your gear lacks against the best builds, and what one more point is worth on your own hits.

Test mode

Runs stop themselves at 30, 45 or 60 seconds, so every run gets an equal window. Only your own hits count.

Gear

What to upgrade next, and exactly how

  • A to-do list of your pieces, biggest gain first.
  • For the piece you pick: what to reroll, what to keep rolling until, the odds, and how many tries in all.
  • An overlay over the game (Ctrl+Alt+G) that shows each piece's grade and lets the mouse straight through.
The Gear page: an upgrade list, biggest gain first, and a reroll plan for a cloak from grade C to S+.

Players

Look up a player

Players who switch on sharing in Truesight show up here, with their best and usual DPS on each boss and their latest runs. The rest of their party shows by class, never by name.

Out of the way

The game keeps the keyboard and the mouse

  • It never takes focus. Clicking the meter leaves the game focused, and opening it does not switch away from the game.
  • Lock it and every click passes straight through to the game.
  • No mouse hook. While locked it only looks at the cursor position a few times a second.
  • No GPU acceleration, so it never competes with the game for the graphics card.

How it works

It reads the game, and nothing else

Only the game's own traffic

Truesight reads the game's network traffic through Npcap, the capture driver that comes with Wireshark. It looks only at the game's port, rebuilds each connection and decodes the messages. No other process is touched, and nothing leaves your PC unless you switch on sharing.

Your fights stay yours

Your fight log and settings stay on your PC. Sharing is off until you switch it on, and then only your own boss kills come to this site, with the rest of your party by class, never by name.

Honest after a patch

When a game patch changes the messages, the meter stops reading until it is updated. A patch costs you the meter for a while, not wrong totals.

Truesight 1.0.0 for Windows

141.9 MB · November 2, 2026 · Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. New versions download in the background and take over the next time it starts. Your fight log and settings always stay.

  1. Npcap first. It lets Truesight read the game's traffic. Install it from npcap.com if it is not on your PC already. Wireshark installs it too.
  2. Run TruesightSetup.exe. It installs for you alone, so it does not ask for administrator rights. If Windows says it does not know the app, choose More info, then Run anyway.
  3. Start Truesight from the Start menu. Windows asks once for permission to read game traffic.
  4. Play. Your first hit starts the meter.
